A ninja unlike no other

alright this ninja I'm talking about is my friend. The spaghetti loving, high flying straight A student is none other then my ninja friend Lucas. Lucas,who can kick chuck Norri's cowboy can. How he can beat chuck Norris is secret, he'll get mad at me if i do. but if you pay me 50 cents I'll give you a hint. Well anyway let's get down to business. favorites.
Favorite food: Lucas's favorite food is mainly spaghetti. But he will prefer pizza, ravioli or any other Italian food.
Favorite music: He listens to Elvis, Weird Al. The rest are a mystery to me.
Favorite style of music: Mainly classic rock, because he says "all music today talks about relationships." sometime I agree with him.
Favorite pastime: Mainly reading, he's read 63 books over summer vacation. Read 12 series over summer. Lucas is really fond of sports, and really good at it too. He is the best at soccer, kickball, baseball and football.
Favorite country to say: the Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia.
Well that's all I have to say about dawg, my homie g, my friend since i was -2.

the coolest claymation ever.

This is a claymation about Sieur de la salle. A traveler who went to the gulf of Mexico. His crew had mutinied twice, and then he died, because of a reason you will find out soon. We don't know if he had married. Or if he had any kids. Sieur was very persuasive with the king.


What was the best part of the project?: I think the best part was working on the computer with my partner. We got along with every idea. In fact our plan was that he would take the pictures, and I would work with making the scene. Witch i think is good because I love working with the computer and I'm really good with it. Especially when what you mainly do is work with electronics. Mitchell Hughes is my partner. You would not believe how many pictures we took per scene. He took about 175 pictures per scene. that is a lot. our project rocks!!!


What was the worst part of the project?: The worst part of the project was making the scene. Especially the seventh scene. so what you had to do was import the pictures to iphoto. Then you had to import the pictures AGAIN to imovie. then you had to rearrange the pictures to fit them perfectly with the audio. The seventh scene didn't help at all. So on one of the last days to take pictures. Mitchell's camera broke. So that wasted time. the movie is still doing good.



What is the most important thing you learned when doing this project?: I have two things that are equally important. One: Make sure you can do this project on your own very well if you choose a partner that does school sports at the end of the day. Because when Mitchell did boy's football. When there where away games, and there was plenty. When he took off, I had to work alone, and that was really boring. Two: Make sure you make your clay people BEFORE you start the scene. Because I know some people who made there clay people look the best they can. I don't think that they had that much of a time to take there pictures. me and Mitchell had sort of good clay people. But it didn't take that long for us to make the people.


Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I don't really know what to say to finish this. Aha I know. I want to say thank you to Mr. Berquist for letting us do claymation. to Mitchell for being my partner. Also for Mr. Snelling who kept his mouth shut if he didn't like it. Thank you for reading this and i hoped you enjoyed it.

video games.

I like a lot of different video games. One of my favorite games is the legend of Zelda. I like it because, it puts imagination to the test. Plus with all the dungeons and mazes, anyone could have a good time.(except those extremely popular people. who say they have better things to do like paint their nails or something). I think that some people say they don't like the legend of Zelda, but on the contrary they do like it. Another game I like is Super Smash Bros. melee. In ssbm, you are Nintendo characters from different video games. Like Link from legend of Zelda, Mario and Luigi from super Mario brothers. then they all go and do battle against each other. My favorite battle is, Marth and Roy on final destination. I like it because it's a knight in shining armor(That's how my mom puts it anyway) and a prince having a sword battle on flat land. I also like 007 every thing or nothing, because i like the weapon tactics that they use. One of my not so favorite's is Mario Kart Double Dash. I mean it's okay, but it is not really something I like. I'm good at it it's just I don't really like the whole plot into it. The Last one I am going to talk about is Dancing with the Stars. It's like dance dance revolution, but it's slower and has more of a ballroom type dance.

karate stuff

I love karate. Karate is just awesome. Because karate makes me fell great inside, makes me feel centered. Karate means "empty hand" in Japanese. There are a few different kinds of karate. on kind of karate is called uechi ryu, and that is the kind of karate that I am learning. It was founded by a man named Kanbun Uechi. he was born on May 5th 1877 (5/5/77). Kanbun was first taught pangainoon which means "half hard, half soft" then Kanbun modified it to uechi ryu. the uniform that people use is called a Gii ( kind of like the Wii).The belt is called the Obi (like Obi-wan Kenobi). Some cool sayings from the karate kid movies are. "true bonsai grow wild, when have strong root" which means you can shape your destiny if your soul is strong. Another one is "you can lose to tournament must not lose to fear" that means you can lose to things but don't be afraid that you are going to fail. Last one is "must stay focus best karate still inside you" that means relax, the ways to stay strong are still in your heart. Alright, so the three main colors of a belt are Whight,Green, Brown and Black. Wight is starting. Green is grass stains. Brown is dirt. Black means you cant do any thing else. The reason there are yellow and blue belts is because in America people thought it would be cool to have a lot of different colors. Karate is sort of a form of meditation.

Comics

I like a lot of different comic books. Garfield is on of my most favorite comics. I like how he is a spunky cat who likes to drink coffee, watch TV, eat lasagna and sleep. He sort of reminds me of myself. I like to sleep, watch TV, eat lasagna (or any Italian food for that matter) and zone out on stuff. Jon sometimes scares me, like one time he needed companionship so bad he started talking to answering machines. Jon sort of reminds me of me, I'm a dork (but let me tell you I don't talk to any answering machine, That's for sure). Another hilarious comic is farside. Farside makes ordinary things un-ordinary. For example you see two fish and one says "Mom, tolkey dried his bed again.". I like X-men comics too, my favorite X-man
is Wolverine. Because he's lived for a century (that's right 100 years old!). He can heal any wound, his bones are metal, and he has claws that come out of his knuckles. I also like Calvin and Hobbes. He may be six, but he has a heck of a lot of an imagination. His stuffed tiger Hobbes, is his best friend. He also drives his parents and his babysitter CRAZZZZZZY. Because he acts like an adult. A comic type that I like is Manga. In Manga it's like human like but fiction like too, it's kind of hard to explain.

movies

i like a lot of martial arts movies. like the karate kid, crouching tiger hidden dragon, rocky and the forbidden kingdom. because of all the lessons, the action, the magic, and the flying stuff. me and my friend both like star wars, i especially like the force because they can lift two million tons with a single finger, the lightsabers is cool too , my favorite one is the red saber because its my favorite color. it's funny how Yoda talks, like "not funny i talk". a scary sci-fi movie is the Andromeda strain its about an alien virus that kills people ten seconds flat. how it kills people is it damages the brain in a certain area and it drives them crazy and they die, also it turns your blood into powder. another good movie is rear window, its corny, but is has a good theme to it.
the harry potter movies are great also, j.k. rowling has a great imagination, my thanks to her. the shrek movies are great also, because of the moral "be who you are" and it has a funny twist to it. the movie the iron giant because of this godzilla tall robot that doesn't know who the heck he is. spireted away is about this sassypants girl who wanders into the spirit world and makes a boat load of friends and then she comes home and works harder. well that is all the movies that ive liked so far.

one wish (fiction)

once there was this boy who was always made fun of in school. he had no friends, bad grades, he was just about to flunk because he was always put down. People said"your an idiot no one likes you." At least when he got home he could just be himself and play video games. His favorite game was the Legend of Zelda, he thought it would be great to be the main character, has so many friends, goes around the world. Then one day a wizard came and said "I can give you one wish" and the boy said "I wish i can have some friends because I can never make a friend." So then the next morning a boy came and asked if he could be this friend and he said yes. The next week it was his birthday him and five other friends came and then they all played and had a good time and then the wizard came and told the boy that the wish will soon be canceled after the party. Then the boy just said "I hope i can make some real friends thank you for letting me feel happy again." then the wizard waved a fork filled with cake and then all of the boys friends got up thanked him for the party and went away. The very next day his crush came and he asked her if she could be his friend then she said sure and then the boy never saw the wizard again the end
